About the course
A closer look at the course
Wireframes are an essential component of the design process as they provide a visual representation of the skeletal framework of an app or website. Wireframing helps refine key design elements, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of users. It also streamlines the design process by making it easier to identify potential issues and make necessary adjustments before moving on to the more detailed stages of design.
This course will start by introducing the key benefits of wireframing. It helps designers and the entire team visualize and define the functionality and test their ideas with users. Wireframing is also a great tool for encouraging collaboration and bringing all team members on board with product development. We’ll explain how to accompany your wireframes with helpful annotations so that clients, developers, visual designers, and copywriters can benefit from them.
Throughout the course, you’ll become familiar with the types of wireframes and get practical tips on how to incorporate wireframing into your design process. We’ll go over the benefits of using wireframes in your workflow for any role on a team, such as product managers, developers, clients, or designers.
When creating a wireframe, it's important to keep in mind the key definitions and concepts associated with wireframing. We'll cover elements such as layout, content, and user flows, which all play an important role in creating effective responsive wireframes.
Depending on the type of product your team is working on, wireframes may differ in complexity and level of interactivity. At the finish line of the course, we'll provide several use cases for using wireframes for banking, e-commerce, social media apps, marketing agencies, taxi apps, and more. You’ll receive a practical guideline on how to create wireframes from scratch, what wireframing tools to use, and how to add copy to wireframes even if real content isn’t available yet.
